Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. In this policy we also call browser local storage (localStorage) entries used for the same purpose cookies. Information on the data controller, purposes and your rights is in the privacy notice. This English version is a translation; if the versions differ, the Turkish text prevails.
2. Types of cookies we use
- Essential: needed to run the website and remember your cookie choice; they do not depend on your consent and cannot be switched off. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Law Art. 5(2)(f)).
- Analytics: measure how the website is used, as statistics. Used only with your explicit consent (Art. 5(1)).
- Marketing: measure the results of our ads and allow ads based on your interests. Used only with your explicit consent (Art. 5(1)).
Entering the website or browsing its pages does not count as consent. Until you consent, no analytics or marketing cookies are set and the Google and Meta measurement tags do not run. The Google Tag Manager script loaded to manage tags does not write cookies itself.
3. Cookie list
- beatus_consent (Beatus Spa, browser local storage): stores your cookie choice and the date you made it. Duration: 12 months. Type: essential.
- _ga (Google Analytics): tells visitors apart to produce website usage statistics. Duration: 2 years. Type: analytics.
- _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): keeps session information. Duration: 2 years. Type: analytics.
- _gcl_au (Google Ads): measures booking requests that follow an ad click. Duration: 90 days. Type: marketing.
- _fbp (Meta Pixel): measures the effect of Facebook and Instagram ads and allows relevant ads to be shown. Duration: 90 days. Type: marketing.
Google and Meta may also use cookies on their own domains (google.com, doubleclick.net, facebook.com). These are governed by those companies' policies and are triggered through our website only if you consent to marketing cookies.
4. Transfers abroad
Data collected by analytics and marketing cookies is transferred to servers of Google and Meta Platforms that may be located outside Türkiye. These transfers are made in line with the conditions in Article 9 of the Law.
5. Managing your choices
- You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the website or the button on this page. Your choice is kept for 12 months; after that, or if this policy changes materially, you will be asked again.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you delete the essential record, you will be asked for your choice again.
- To turn off Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
- You can manage personalised ads on Google in My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) and on Meta in Ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences).
6. Why you see our ads
If you consented to marketing cookies, Google and Meta may show our ads based on your visit to our website, the pages you viewed (a location or treatment page) and general criteria such as location and language. If you would rather not see these ads, switch off marketing cookies in your cookie preferences and change ad personalisation on the Google and Meta pages above. We do not target our ads at people under 18.
7. Updates
We update this policy when needed; the current version is always on this page. Last updated: 7 October 2026.
