Someone searching for a "massage place in Beylikdüzü" usually meets a list of addresses and cannot tell which to pick. That uncertainty is natural: it is hard to judge a massage place by walking past it or by looking at a photograph. So we have written this as a method for building your own criteria, not as a recommendation of where to go. We make no assessment of any other business, and you can put these questions to any place. The details for our own location are on the Beylikdüzü–Esenyurt location page, and the phone and WhatsApp line are on the call card on the page. The information is based on the written answers we received from the location, as of 20 October 2026.
What options are there when you look for a massage in Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt?
There are three main options: a spa inside a hotel, an independent massage salon and a hotel's own massage room.
Which suits you depends on your time, whether you want a hammam and sauna, and the kind of setting you are after.
A spa inside a hotel may have wet areas such as a hammam, sauna or steam room alongside massage; if you want to combine a massage with those, it is a single address. An independent massage salon concentrates on massage alone, is usually found within a neighbourhood and can be easy to reach; it is a simple choice if massage is all you want. A hotel's own massage room often serves only hotel guests. None of these is better than another. They answer different needs.
The regulations reflect this distinction too. The Regulation on the Qualifications of Tourism Facilities describes the SPA department in hotels as a unit with at least four of the following in addition to a Turkish bath: a steam room, sauna, massage units or an indoor swimming pool, along with separate changing areas, lockers, showers and toilets for women and men. Independent massage salons, by contrast, are covered under a separate heading in the regulation on workplace opening and operating licences. Because there are two separate frameworks, it is perfectly normal to ask a place "what kind of business are you?" before you go.
Our location in this area is in the hotel spa category: it is on floor -1 of the Euro Park Otel and takes guests who are not staying at the hotel by appointment. If you want a general guide to hotel spas, our questions to ask before booking a hotel spa covers them.
What legal framework does a massage place work under?
Massage salons work under a workplace opening and operating licence issued by the municipality, and the regulation lists specific conditions for that licence.
Knowing the conditions helps you work out what to ask when you assess a place.
Annex-1 of the Regulation on Workplace Opening and Operating Licences sets out what is required of a massage salon: a waiting room with a reception area, a treatment room containing a massage table, a changing room, a rest room for relaxing after a massage, a room for staff only, a closed unit for waste and a unit for sterilising equipment. Treatment rooms are required to have running hot water, a shower, a toilet and a hairdryer. A responsible manager is present at the salon, and employees' documents and work-permit papers are displayed in a visible place in the waiting room. In the same annex the regulation states plainly that treatment-oriented massage techniques cannot be performed in massage salons.
That list becomes a practical basket of questions:
- Is there a waiting area and a changing area, and where are they?
- Is a shower or toilet close to the massage room?
- Are the papers on work permits and on the specialists' documents displayed somewhere you can see them?
- Who is the person in charge during a session?
Two notes are needed here. First, this regulation is written for massage salons; which regulation applies to a spa inside a hotel can depend on the type of business, and you only need to ask the business. Second, the conditions we describe are general consumer information. For document or licence details of our location, the right thing is to ask the location. When you ask, you judge the answer yourself; we do not mention these conditions to put one business above another.
Looking at the entrance and privacy: how do you get from the door to the massage room?
Entry to our massage place in Esenyurt–Beylikdüzü is from the car park and the hotel entrance, and the spa is on floor -1.
Asking before you book about privacy matters such as changing, draping and the layout of the room is a sensible step at any business.
Privacy has two layers: where you enter, and what arrangement you find inside. In a hotel spa you enter through the hotel's own entrance or car park, not from the street, so it makes sense to ask "which door, and is there a reception desk to meet me?" You can put this question to the location when you book.
The session guide of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) explains that a person receiving a massage has a right to privacy while undressing, takes off only as much clothing as is comfortable, and is draped with a cover throughout so that only the area being worked on is uncovered. It also describes the massage specialist leaving the room so that you can undress, and your getting up slowly and dressing in privacy at the end. That is a description of practice in another country, and it may not be the same at every business, so asking "how is a session arranged?" gives you peace of mind before the session.
At this location, towels, a pestemal and slippers are provided to hammam and massage guests. That information comes from the location's written answer; for details such as how the cover is used during a session, you can ask the massage specialist at the start.
Is there a massage room in the section reserved for women?
Yes.
At our location the section reserved for women has a hammam, sauna, steam room, massage room and relaxation area, and the section is open for the location's full opening hours.
This has a practical consequence for women guests: you move between the massage room, the relaxation area and the wet areas within the same section. You do not need to look for a "women's hours" time slot, because the section is not tied to certain hours. You can read about the general layout of the section, and the use of the hammam and sauna, in our guide hammam and massage in Esenyurt: the women's section, evening hours and group bookings. We do not repeat the same detail here.
The question of the massage specialist's gender differs from one location to another, and we make no written promise for this location. The simplest way is to state your preference when you book and ask what the location can do. The International SPA Association (ISPA) also advises spa visitors to state this preference when booking and to ask about the cancellation terms.
Which kinds of massage and which lengths should you ask about?
The location offers Balinese massage, deep tissue massage and hot stone massage.
When you choose, think about the pressure, the pace and the time you can set aside; ask the location for the table of lengths.
Balinese massage is done on a massage table with oil, using long, flowing strokes. Deep tissue massage is similar to classic massage but the pace is slower and the pressure firmer. In hot stone massage, heated stones are used as an extension of the specialist's hands. We have a guide that compares the three on pressure, pace and tradition; our guide to the types of massage and our massage page explain what each type is like. These are descriptions of the sessions and make no promise about results.
On length: options vary by location and by appointment time, so asking "what length options are there for Balinese massage?" in your message is enough. It also helps to know what is not done: at this location, treatments such as Algo Radiance and the seaweed mask are not offered, and there is no jacuzzi or VIP room. So you learn before you book that what you are looking for is not here.
It is a rule that applies at any business to tell the massage specialist at the start of a session how firm you like the pressure, which areas are sensitive and anything that makes you uncomfortable. The AMTA guide expects the practitioner to check pressure and comfort throughout and suggests you speak up if something is uncomfortable. If you are sensitive to oils or lotions, say so before the session. If you have a health condition or are pregnant, speak to your doctor before a massage; the US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) also says that massage should not be used to put off seeing a health professional about a health problem.
What should you look at for two people or a group?
There are two couples' massage rooms at this location, one in the men's section and one in the women's section.
Groups of 10 to 15 people are welcomed; for a larger group, write to the location in advance.
A couples' massage room means two people having a massage side by side in the same room. Because the number of rooms is limited, you need to plan the date and time ahead. It helps to know which section each room is in when you book; for a mixed couple, ask in your message which room will be planned.
Put questions such as whether you will choose the same length, whether you start at the same time and whether you can use the hammam or sauna together on your list for the message. Our couples massage guide takes you through this plan step by step. For bigger plans, such as a group of friends or a bridal hammam, the Esenyurt guide mentioned above goes into capacity and layout.
How do you get there by metrobus or by car?
The nearest metrobus stop is Cumhuriyet.
If you are driving, the car park is open to spa guests and there is a valet service; both depend on the hotel's arrangements and apply according to what the location has told us.
The Cumhuriyet Mahallesi stop is on the Istanbul Metrobus line along the D-100 highway, and its exits are on both sides of the road. The straight-line distance between the stop and the location's map coordinates is about 200 metres. That is not a walking time: the pedestrian crossing, the service road and the layout of the road change the real time. It is more reliable to check the walk from your own starting point on a map app. Knowing the neighbourhood helps with navigation too: the location's registered address is in Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mahallesi in the Esenyurt district, and this neighbourhood appears in the list of neighbourhoods on the Esenyurt Municipality website. People also search for the same place under the name Beylikdüzü.
Typing the hotel's name into your navigation app will guide you more easily than the address. Entry is from the car park and the hotel entrance, and the spa is on floor -1. For wheelchair access, ask the location about the route from the door to the massage room. You can write in English, Turkish or Persian; there are no Arabic- or Russian-speaking staff, and in those languages it is quicker to write in English or use a translation app.
What time should you go?
The location is open every day from 10:00 to 22:00.
The last booking is usually between 20:30 and 21:00, depending on the treatment; if you want a later time, write to the location in advance.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Opens | 10:00 |
| Closes | 22:00 |
| Last booking | 20:30 – 21:00, depending on the treatment |
| A later time | Write to the location in advance |
These are the hours on the date of this article and may change during religious holidays and other special days. If you are coming in the evening, you need to work out the total time: if you are combining a massage, a hammam and some rest, ask in your message how the whole visit will fit before closing. There is a worked evening example in our Esenyurt guide. There is no rule about whether to use the hammam before or after a massage, how long to stay in it or how long a break to take; talk it over with the location according to how your session will run.
Can you add a hammam or sauna before a massage?
Yes. At this location the hammam and sauna can be used for the day without a massage; there is no membership.
You can combine them with a massage if you wish, or just have a massage.
We do not go into detail here, because how the hammam works, the scrub and foam, and the layout of the women's section are the subjects of other guides. Our Beylikdüzü hammam guide covers them, and our Turkish bath page shows the steps of the ritual. If you are fitting a massage and a hammam into the same day, which comes first is a matter of preference and there is no fixed rule; talk through the order of the session with the location when you book.
How do you ask about cost and packages?
Ask about the cost, the length and what is included in the same message. For pricing, write to the location, and ask what is covered too.
Article 54 of Consumer Protection Law no. 6502 requires that lists showing the tariffs and prices of services be displayed where they can be seen, and that if there is a difference between the price on the list and the price at the till, the one in the consumer's favour applies. That is a right you have, and it applies to every business. Practical questions you can ask in your message are how many minutes the session lasts, whether the time includes use of the hammam or sauna beyond the massage, what happens if you ask for an extra service, and what the cancellation or postponement terms are. Getting the answers in writing prevents misunderstandings later. Our guide to how massage and hammam prices are set goes into these questions in general terms.
What do you write in a booking message?
Keep the message short: location, date, time, number of people and service.
You do not need to give health information; you can tell the massage specialist at the start of the session.
There is no online booking; you book by phone or WhatsApp. The location usually replies within a short time, though it can take longer at busy times. You can find the phone number on the call card at the top of the page.
An example message:
Hello, I would like to book a massage for Saturday evening. There are two of us; is a couples' massage room available? What types and lengths of massage are there, what time is the last booking, and which door should we come in through? Thank you.
In the second half of the message, add whichever of the questions from this guide you need: a massage room in the section reserved for women, what to do to request a particular massage specialist, parking and valet, and combining a hammam or sauna with a massage. For preparation, the ISPA guide advises phoning before you go to ask your questions, and arriving about 30 minutes before the treatment; ask the location what applies there. If you want to read through the general criteria for a good massage place again, our guide to choosing a massage spa collects the questions in a wider list.
